This cemetery is abandoned and is not being maintained

This cemetery lies in a very secluded place. It is not very accessible and much damage occurs to the stones every year. It is supposedly in the care of the Yarmouth Township Council but since they cannot get equipment down there very easily they have let it deteriorate badly. During the summer most stones cannot be found because of the weeds growing over the stones. This cemetery has been transcribed about four times previously and each time some more stones disappear or are damaged beyond repair.

To get to the cemetery one must either go through the farmer’s field or climb down a hill, up another and down again.
The cemetery is located in the flats, west of the village of New Sarum, on the south side of Highway #3.
