Rogers Corners Cemetery

This cemetery lies some 100 metres from Rogers Road and north of Highway 3. It is located behind a row of houses that front on the highway. For the most part the cemetery lies behind house number 597 Talbot West. All the stones have been placed on a concrete slab. The broken stones have been laid flat, 24 stones at the front facing south and 8 at the back facing north. There are 20 stones standing in the central part facing south and 21 stones facing north. The concrete slab sits near the front of a triangular piece of land. There are two trees, the rest is grass. There is one footstone near the larger tree. There is also a piece of concrete near the back end of the lot.

See article in the Aylmer Express “Would Restore Old Cemetery“, 6 Sept 1961 – ” The cemetery contains at least 75 plots.”
