    A Methodist church existed on this site at one time. Deeds found for the church give a registration date of February 9, 1861. The church was later moved to the north east corner of County Road 45 (Concession 4 – now called John Wise Line). The man who was involved with the moving of these stones to a cemented area was Mr. Jack Baker.
