“McKenney, John was born at Charlestown, Montgomery County, New York, Dec. 18, 1796, and came to Canada at age 20. After stopping a short time in Crowland, he moved to Pelham. He got married on Aug. 16, 1818, and moved c. 2 years later to Malahide, where he died, Sept. 17, 1862. He was buried at Malahide Centre. His numerous family have been converted, except for his youngest 2 sons. – Feb. 4, 1863, p. 4, O.”]
